Seymour- April 26 11 PM – Prior to the meeting on Tuesday night, SRP officials met to discuss the scheduled test and tune session for this Sunday, May 1.
With the recent rain and now cold temperatures, quality prep time is in short supply. So the decision was made to cancel this Sundays test and tune at Seymour Raceway Park.
Work will continue to get the new clay surface in shape for the scheduled test and tune set for Sunday May 8. There will be another session scheduled and held on Wednesday night, May 11 starting at 5 PM.
We want to make sure the track is in race ready condition for the test and tunes, all leading up to the season opener on Sunday May 15.
