Oshkosh, June 3- With ominous clouds and lightening to the west and north, The SpeedZone outlasted the threat Friday night to get in a full program. A total of 136 cars in six divisions competed.

The Goldstar Racing Products Grand Nationals started the feature portion of the program. Chase Solomon grabbed the lead at the start and despite several cautions, maintained the top spot through lap 12, when a caution bunched the field with Brian Henry, Larry and Jeff Richards and Brian Vinney packed behind. On the restart, Larry Richards dove to the inside and with the cars making contact, was able to take over the lead. The battle was for second as Larry pulled away to collect his second feature win of the season. Vinney, after starting last in the field, came through to take the runner up spot. Jeff Richards took third. Derek Schrauth, Tim Doehling and Henry rounded out the top six.

Outlaw Chassis Street Stock division was up next with Clint Evans taking the elad from the pole position, but Jeff Jungwirth charged into the top spot on the following lap bringing Jeff Wicinsky and Alex Crapser to the front. The trio ran together and pulled away from the field early. A series of mid race cautions bunched the field. Steve Gawareski joined the leaders but could not get the momentum on the outside to take the lead. Jungwirth was able to hold on and collect his second feature win of the season..Crapser and Gawareski followed with Jesse Krahn taking fourth. Smith ran in the front pack throughout the race and a late charge earned him the runner up finish. Wedelstadt took third . Tim Lemirande made a charge from the back of the field and finished fourth. Point leader, Marcus Yarie was fifth and after starting the race last, Mike Wedelstadt rounded out the top six.

Aaron Stolp, Joe White, Greg Wichman and Travis Van Straten battled for position through the fiers t 10 lap. Springstroh was able to pull away from the field and by the time Van Straten was able to break from the pack into second place, ran out of laps to catch the elader. Springstroh has run the tough division since 2013, and clinched his first career feature win. Van Straten took second with Hiles taking third. Stolp, David Hoerning and Wichman rounded out the top six.
